to be drafted as the No. 3 rookie in the draft.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Edgecombe made a very strong impression during his workout and visit in Philadelphia earlier this month,&#8221; Sidery wrote on X.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-twitter-script=\"true\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">VJ Edgecombe is the \u201cleader in the clubhouse\u201d to be drafted by the Sixers at No. 3 overall, per <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DraftExpress?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@DraftExpress<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/j03eCWBEOa\">https:\/\/t.co\/j03eCWBEOa<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Edgecombe made a very strong impression during his workout and visit in Philadelphia earlier this month. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/iQk165AUTU\">pic.twitter.com\/iQk165AUTU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Evan Sidery (@esidery) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/esidery\/status\/1934969160024355078?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 17, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Initially, Ace Bailey was the young player being targeted by the Sixers, but they were blown away by Edgecombe&#8217;s workout and what he brings to the game.<\/p>\n<p>They are very fond of this three-point shooting, specifically, and they imagine him working well in a lineup alongside Tyrese Maxey, Jared McCain, Quentin Grimes, Paul George, and others.<\/p>\n<p>If their impressions of Edgecombe hold, he will soon be one of the most exciting and talked-about rookies in the class, heading to a team that desperately needs to get back on track.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting, however, that Bailey will have a workout with Philadelphia later this week.<\/p>\n<p>He has been getting mixed reviews from other teams, but can he change the Sixers&#8217;
